How to Pose Naturally for Your Wedding Portraits
The most common thing we hear from couples is, "We're not models, we don't know how to pose!" Don't worry—that's exactly why you hire a professional. Our goal is to capture your genuine connection, not stiff, unnatural positions.
1. Forget the Camera Exists
Instead of looking at the lens, look at each other. Share a joke, whisper something, or just enjoy the moment of being together. When you focus on your partner, the "camera nerves" naturally fade away.
2. Keep Your Hands Busy
Nervous hands often lead to stiff poses. Hold hands, fix your partner’s veil or boutonniere, or place a hand gently on their arm. Giving your hands a "job" makes the whole body look more relaxed.
3. Movement is Key
Walking toward the camera, or away from it while looking back, creates a sense of flow and life in your photos. Static poses can feel forced; movement feels like a memory in motion.

We will guide you through every step. If a pose looks good but feels weird, we'll tell you! If you look amazing, we'll definitely let you know.
